Hi, I am Jitu, a children's book illustrator, specializing in delicate watercolor illustrations.

I studied Illustration at School of Visual Arts in NYC. I worked as an illustrator in an indie publishing house and have also been an art teacher in an elementary school. I am really good with team work and never miss deadlines. I receive feedbacks really well and I am very reliable. I have illustrated over 10 books with many of them being by the same authors.

​I live in Parlin, New Jersey, a beautiful town near the Atlantic Ocean, with my two daughters. We love spending our time together, painting and reading picture books. My kids are always the first to give me a critique! 

 

I am always looking for exciting new opportunities in picture books. I would love to illustrate widely distributed books such as those published by Sleeping Bear Press, Lee & Low Books and Scholastic. I would be happy to share my Dummy upon request!
